1. What do I do if I have changed my address?
You should notify Capita Registrars in writing and a change of address form can be downloaded here. If you hold shares in joint names, the notification to change address must be signed by the first name shareholder.

2. What do I do if I have changed my name?
You should notify Capita Registrars in writing of your new name and previous name. You should attach a copy of your marriage certificate or your change of name deed, together with your share certificates and any uncashed dividend cheques in your old name, so that Capita Registrars can reissue them.

3. Can I have my dividends paid directly into my bank or building society account?

Yes this is possible with most bank or building society accounts in the UK and is sometimes referred to as a “payment instruction” or “dividend mandate”.

Mandating your dividends has a number of advantages for you:

  • The dividend will go in to your account on payment date – there is no chance of it being delayed in the past, and you do not have to wait for a cheque to clear.
  • The payment method is more secure than receiving a cheque in the post
  • Tax information about the dividend is sent direct to you at your registered address

A request for payment of dividends mandate can be downloaded here.

4. I haven't received my last dividend cheque. What should I do?
Please contact Capita Registrars, who will investigate the reason for non-receipt. You may wish to have future dividends paid directly into your bank or building society account. See above for details.

5. When is the next dividend paid?
Erinaceous normally pays dividends twice a year in April and October.

6. My partner, or relative, has passed away. What should I do about their shareholding?
Please contact Capita Registrars at your earliest opportunity. They will assist you with the documentation required and be able to make the process as straightforward as possible for you.

7. How do I transfer my shares?
At some point you may wish to transfer some or all of your shares to someone else (for example your partner or a member of your family). To do this you will need to complete a share transfer form that can be downloaded here. The form should be fully completed and returned with your share certificate representing at least the number of shares being transferred. Capita Registrars will then process the transfer and issue a balance share certificate to you if applicable. Capita Registrars will be able to help you with any questions you may have about completing the form.
